This temporary window screen comes completely assembled, so all you need do is place it in the window opening and adjust the width. The screen has a 5/16 inch (7.9 millimeter) white or silver (mill) finish frame with square cut corners, fiberglass screen wire, and black retainer spline. As a teenager I had ziploc bags full of bubblegum saved from wax packs of Topps cards (back when bubblegum cards actually included bubblegum, how about that. This small adjustable window screen installs in seconds without the need of tools or fasteners. I don't begrudge anyone their hobby or their collection (though I reserve that right for my brother, who incidentally is a gluten-free vegan). We'll see if this finally ends the quest for her. However, Nintendo will replace a screen that has debris underneath it, if it's under warranty and the buyer sends it in and is willing to wait for a repair, yada yada.
